Description: Wheels Off: The Rhett Miller Show at Largo on Monday, June 17th.
Wheels Off: The Rhett Miller Show is a new variety show featuring Rhett Miller and his all-star friends. Modeled after an old-school variety show, Wheels Off will feature music, comedy, a little bit of discussion, and maybe even a skit here and there. Largo will host the first two installments of the show on June 17th and August 25th. Special guests to be announced shortly. Past shows have included guests, Jon Brion, Rob Delaney, Old97s Murry Hammond, Ryan Miller, Joey Santiago, Rami Jaffee, & many others. Always a blast come on down!
Seats Assignments begin at 6:00pm. Doors open for drinks at 7:00pm. Show time at 8:30pm.
Rhett Miller is the front man and main songwriter of the hard-charging rock ‘n’ roll quartet the Old 97’s, as well as an accomplished solo artist. In addition to his nine studio albums with the 97’s (most recently The Grand Theatre Volume One and The Grand Theatre Vol. 2 in 2011), he has released four solo albums; 1989’s Mythologies, 2002’s The Instigator, 2006’s The Believer, and 2009’s Rhett Miller. Miller is set to release his first live covers album, The Interpreter Live at Largo, on November 22, 2011 on his own recently established label Maximum Sunshine Records.
*When you arrive at Will Call on the night of the show, all seats will be assigned first come first served, from the front of the theatre to the back.
